Radio Remedy Presenters

All of our presenters are unpaid volunteers and are dedicated to making our patients stay in Caithness General Hospital as entertaining and stress free as possible.

Bill Duchart (Radio Remedy Vice-Chairman & Presenter)

 

Likes: Comedy, Blues, Classic Rock, Sci-Fi/Horror/Crime/Fiction, Jokes, Football (Celtic, Hull & Scotland), Vinyl LPs, The Unexplained, Football on the Radio.

 

Dislikes: Celeb TV Programs, English Bias, Cricket & Dishonesty

 

Brian Marshall (Radio Remedy Director & Presenter)

 

Likes: Listening to the Radio (I Can have Radios on in Different Rooms on Different Stations at the same time). Favourite Football Team – Hi-Bees. Lots of Reading. My Grandson Rikki (Which MUST be shouted in an East-ender type accent).

My Trusty i-Pod.

 

Dislikes: Poor Time Keeping, Sloppy Service Anywhere, Camper Vans.

 

Bob Johnson

(Radio Remedy Chairman & Presenter)

 

Likes: 70s Rock from David Bowie to Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, and Music as a Whole. Radio Broadcasting (Especially Radio Remedy & Caithness FM), Photography, Holidays.

 

Dislikes: Being taken for granted, used, Violence, having to pay so much for Petrol just because I live where I live.

 

Calum Risbridger (Presenter)

 

Calum’s Favourite Song: Now we are free - Lisa Gerrard (Because it is calming, motivating and different.

 

Likes: Reading, Walking, Surfing the Web, Expressing my creative side.

 

Dislikes: Rock music, Alarm clocks, Bullying and when technology simply refuses to work.

Matthew Thain (Presenter)

 

Matthew’s Favourite Song: Revelry (Kings of Leon)

Why? Dunno, I just do.

 

Likes: Music, kayaking, Dee-Jaying & sleeping.

 

Dislikes:Green Jelly Babies & heavy metal music.

Alex MacManus (Radio Remedy Director, Treasurer & Presenter).

 

Favourite Song: Far too many to list but here’s some: Moonlight Shadow (Oldfield), Cherry Red (Groundhogs), Big Fat Mama (Quo), Dr.Dr. (UFO).

 

Likes: Good manners, Footie, Music, People, Animals, my pet Boxer & My Family.

 

Dislikes: Bad Service, Bad Manners & Reality TV Shows.

 

Adam Risbridger (Presenter)

 

Adam’s Favourite Song: Instrumental Versions of Songs.

 

Likes: Loyalty, Karate, Games, Leadership, Laptops, Conspiracy theories

 

Dislikes: Liars, Call centres, Taxation and an unenjoyable breakfast.

Rich Bradley (Presenter)

 

Favourite Song: Anything by Frankie Goes to Hollywood (Because it gets the blood pumping).

 

Likes: Spending time by the sea on a cold day then tea by the fire.

 

Dislikes: Cottage Cheese.
